Wednesday, December 20 (part two)

As we were finishing our last post, we got a call from the adoption center. We have been set up with a new appointment at 9 a.m. in the morning. Thanks to everyone for keeping us in their prayers (we have felt them). We'll soon see what tomorrow holds...

We're so sorry that things didn't work out with the two brothers. I know it must have been a difficult decision to make knowing that those boys are not going home with you. As hard as God is to understand in all of this, I'm certain that He is involved and is orchestrating everything. We'll be praying for the two boys that they will heal and that God will provide loving parents for them. We'll also be praying that God will lift your spirits, give you joy in this situation and give you an adventurous spirit to enjoy the Ukranian culture you are currently immersed in. We look forward to your next update.

Chris and Kim,

We are so sorry to hear about the little boys. We know it must have been difficult for you to find them in such a sad situation. We know right now it is very hard to understand God's ways, but remember He is in control, and He is working everything according to His perfect plan. He has brought you this far, and we know He will lead you to the perfect child/children for you! We are praying that God will renew your excitement and refresh your spirits as you continue on this bumpy journey. We are also praying for smooth paths ahead as you venture out to another orphanage. We can't wait to see your next update.

May God be with you!!!

Chris and Kim, Our hearts ache for you as you are so close to reaching what you have hoped and prayed for for so long. It is sad to learn about the very real issues going on with these children and the dire need for these children to be saved from their conditions. Don't loose heart. You have been sent to rescue certain children and perhaps God has another family willing to take those children that you don't select. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to see such great need. I think I would want to take all of them home! I hope that the boys will be healed of whatever ails them.
We are praying for you constantly. God has brought you this far and has already given you an abundance of patient perserverance in waiting for the right match. He has prepared a child(ren) for you and will provide them for you in His perfect timing. Keep your "chins up" and enjoy the country.
Much Love,
Christy, Erik, Jakob and Seth!

I posted on the last reply before I read this one and thought I was the first one to read the news. Then I read about the new appointment (which was encouraging!) and saw there was 4 comments. What wonderful friends you have! Their words lifted my spirits :-) I hope they have a thousand times the effect on you two! A lot of prayer really is going into this!!! I can't wait to see what GOD is up to!!! Forgot to add this to last post anyway: Romans 15:13

Somewhere in Ukraine are one (or two) little Snows. :-) GOD has made them for you. And I can't wait to meet them!

Love ~ Jody

Chris and Kim,

We are all thinking of you both! And we're sorry to hear that your first meeting didn't go as well as we all hoped for.

We can only imagine all the paths you need to walk within a short timeframe that will affect the rest of your life.

We wish you the best and are looking forward for your next update,
Arild, Tone, Maria and Christina (up here in Norway!)

We wanted to echo the comments of others in expressing our disappointment for you and for the boys. God will provide who he wants when he wants. We look forward to seeing how that develops, James & Jaime.
